I'd recommend this place for going with a friend(s) and enjoying some "local" (Buckely is where it's all brewed mostly and brought in by the owner so the selection various depending on his inventory) brews and nuts/pretzels. of barley wine but it gives me something to go back and try. If I didn't have a buzz going already and had to drive with family for lunch I would have bought a 10oz. The stout was average (a little watery, not as thick as I like mine) but the sample of Barley Wine I tried blew my mind. He gave me a sample of every thing they had on tap (6 kinds) and settled on the scotch ale which was I'd say was better than average. I got there right at opening and the man pouring the ales was very friendly and knowledgeable. The sign out front says Hot Nut Bar, which they had for a couple bucks or free warmed pretzels. There are no A-frame signs or anything eye catching to tell people about this gem of a brewery tasting room. I would never have known this was here if it wasn't for my wife pointing to a sign labeled "fresh beer" and we walked around the corner.
